[ THE JALI PROJECT ]

Bridging the gap between traditional African knowledge and modern technology through open-source innovation.

The Initiative

The JALI Project is an exploration of voice, identity, and the digital divide. Stemming from my background in Computer Engineering and IoT, it seeks to archive and amplify the narratives of the unauthorized—those whose stories are often overwritten by the broad strokes of history.

The Process

We are building tools that listen. From low-resource language models to community-driven archives, the technology is designed to serve the story, not the other way around. As a dedicated team player, I work to ensure these systems are robust, accessible, and truly representative of the people they are meant to reflect.

Impact
Impact 05

Empowering locals to become the architects of their own future.

The Goal

The goal is simple: meaningful reach. Beyond logging data points, the focus is on preserving dignity and empowering voices. Working solidly and collaboratively, JALI is about ensuring that as the world moves forward, our stories and our people move with it.
